Beginning as a project intending to document the lands and towns of Fairfield County, the Coronavirus pandemic led me to focus on the city of Lancaster, the only city in the county outside of the Columbus City limits. Life and local business in Lancaster from the Covid-19 crisis upended in a flash, and the dichotomy of being a populous city surrounded by a vast expanse of farms, country, and roving hills made Lancaster a interesting location to focus on in the midst of a worldwide epidemic.
