To me, photography is tool that gives someone a reason to explore and wander anywhere that they would otherwise have have no business or reason being at. Photography allows me to experience forgotten and hidden places that otherwise i would not have found, or to take a closer look at places that are frequented by others and myself. This theme of my life no doubt stems from my experience as a skateboarder since the age of 10, and the fact that skateboarding has and still does grant me the same sense of satisfaction I get from photography. Skateboarding has also greatly influenced the way i look at the world, visually and mentally, that plays a big part in the way I make my images.
